Water quality is a critical factor in modern intensive fish farming management. Impaired water quality can not only directly cause mortality, but more often, it also stresses aquatic species and makes them more susceptible to infectious diseases. Optimal water quality varies by species and must be monitored to ensure survival and healthy growth.
